Hamedan Governor, stressing that we consider tourism as a way of peace in the world, said: "I request the Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization to agree to the establishment of a regional office in Iran and to open this office in his presence”.

Referring to the presence of Hamedan in the tourism organization with 3 members, Hamedan governor noted: "The serious attention to tourism in Hamedan paid from 5 years ago and the studies have been done so that tourism was selected as the development center of Hamedan province.

He added: "The increase of hotels, ecolodges and holding of conferences and seminars have been the province's actions in this regard.

"We consider tourism as a way of peace in the world, and we believe that no power can prevent people from communicating," Nikbakht said.

Hamedan governor added: "Our people are not interested in fighting, but they do not accept domination and bullying from anybody, and today the Middle East should be proud of Iran which is stable and peaceful.

He noted: We consider the sanctions imposed by Tramp illegal, cruel, unilateral, and unlike the global peace process, and we expect all countries to continue to maintain international cooperation and do not recognize these sanctions and confront the Iranian nation.

Pointing out that in 2018, Hamedan was selected as the capital of Asian tourism and today hosted the 40th World Tourism Summit, he added: “the guests of the historic and civilization capital, and where was once the capital of the great Iranian empire for 500 years are welcomed and we wish happy time for all of them during their visit.”

Referring to the presence of the secretary general of the World Tourism Organization in Iran, he stated: “Mr. Zurab had not present in the countries, but he gave the honor to Iran and Hamedan, which is worthy of appreciation
