Due to the targeting of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of tourism and the movement towards the success of this industry in order to achieve sustainable development, suggestions are offered in this regard to the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD). Accordingly so far, hosting two sessions of the forum has been proposed by Iran and its first session held in Tabriz in 2016. At another meeting, the city of Hamedan, as the Asian tourism capital, will host the Asian Cooperation Dialogue. This summit will be held in Hamedan in July 2018.

In general, the purposes of this important hosting are as follows:
Introducing tourism capacity of Hamedan province as tourism destination of incoming tours
International tourism development (Asia)
Quantitative and qualitative upgrading of tourism infrastructures and related facilities.
Creating new opportunities for investment attraction.
Economic promotion of the province and the region.
In order to coordinate and follow up, the National Policy Council and the Provincial Council of Hamadan 2018 have set up, which includes various committees.
